Welcome to Portugal!

No obnoxious tourists, loud bars, or neighbors that never seem to leave you alone.

With over 200 km of beautiful coastline, Algarve is one of the most popular beach destinations in Europe. The area combines clear blue water with endless white sand beaches carved into dramatic cliffs. A third of the beaches on the Algarve coast have been awarded the prestigious Blue Flag, an award that recognizes high water quality, easy accessibility, parking availability, lifeguards on duty, and the quality of other facilities available.

The Algarve coast is one of the most exciting, charming, and relaxing places in Europe. Whatever you may be looking for, you’ll find it here. Algarve sees more sun during the year than any other destination in mainland Europe! The summer season lasts from early March through October. The summer, however, is not the only time to visit, as the winter season offers excellent conditions for golfing. With 38 modern golf courses and several more under construction, the area is perfect for golf enthusiasts.

There are several stores, bars, and restaurants near by as well. The closest town is Carvoeiro, which is a popular tourist destination that has maintained its picturesque beauty and charm. Even closer you find the cozy fishing village of Ferragudo. Much less tourists, but still 43 restaurants. And just across the river is Portimao, a town of 70,000 inhabitants, shops and large shopping centers.

Algarve has several waterparks. The largest and most popular, Slide&Splash,
is located only four minutes driving from Casa Momassa.

The closest airport is Faro (40 minutes drive).
Lisbon is approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes away by car.
